KARRIE GRIGSBY SANFORD

Karrie is a highly resilient multifaceted Engineering Director that is a GE certified Six Sigma Black Belt with almost 25 years of success and history in enabling business continuity, operational efficiency, and organizational excellence through process engineering, optimization, automation, and improvement.

Karrie is an accomplished professional, industry rated as top talent, and a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. who conducts servant leadership at work through the African American Black Employee Resource Group as the Workforce Optimization Co-Lead to support the advancement of African Americans and also is involved in mentorship inside her community.

Karrie rests on the tenant of resiliency and believes that creating diverse teams and commitment to employee development alongside mentorship and sponsorship is the key to success in all facets of achieving life goals.

Karrie’s purpose and passion is to help others from the insights she has overcame with the many corporate hurdles as an African American female engineer within predominantly male domineering industries; which has allowed her to gain the insight(s), the hands-on experience, support, and knowledge to execute how to excel past the status quo statistics that have been set for African American women in the area of not having a seat at the decision-making table~ C-Suite.
